History and Culture of Lithuanian Jewry: New Research
The history and culture of Lithuanian Jews is one of the most fundamental areas in the research of the Jewish life of Central and Eastern Europe. That is the reason why it has been carried out for a long period by the historians of the USA, Israel, Great Britain, Germany, Poland and other countries, who in the recent decades were joined by their colleagues from Lithuania and Russia. The panel “History and Culture of Lithuanian Jewry: New Research” invites scholars to present their latest work in the field and discuss new perspectives of the topic.
